Chartit Casino is an affiliate of Chartit Events Limited who organize the Chartit Events Poker Series-a Tournament held at a range of Venues in the Gainsborough and Scunthorpe catchment areas.

There are essentially three stages to the Tournament, the top prize being  played for between 24 qualified players.

Should there be less than 8 players, no game (tournament or other) will be played at that venue on that night.

As of 20.04.09 there are already 15 qualified players that make up the 24 finalists. They won their seats at higher stake games using a format initially introduced with a buy-in of £12/-.

Research has shown that this higher level of play and the fact that limited numbers result in no cash being given out along with seats is not welcome by players. As a result of this the Structure has been altered after consultation with some players that have already qualified for this final stage.

The Tournament now has a minimum of 8 players and is capped at 32 seated players, each will have between 3500 and 5000 worth of chips depending on numbers. No add-ons or re-buys are allowed.

The cost of each seat is £5. The winner will receive a seat at a playoff (usually held 10 days from the date they win their seat) as well as cash and other prizes.

The playoff will consist of 8 playoff seat winners, where the winner will receive cash and a seat at the finals. There are only 24 seats at the Final Table.

Each player needs to complete a Registration Form and will be given an exclusive Membership Card. Periodically there will be draws for prizes using your Membership Number. Your Membership card also allows easier, quicker registration at each Venue.
